What is Gang of Four in design patterns? The “Gang of Four” book, in 1994. The Gang of Four are the four authors of the book, “Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software”. Pattern is a reusable solution for a commonly occurring problem. A book about technology - it's a book about data and design and patterns. Gang of four is nothing to do with technical sense, it's name of four authors(Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson and John Vlissides) of book Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software. It's the database developer's equivalent of the famous GoF (“Gang of Four”) design patterns book, Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software. Design patterns gained popularity in computer science after the book Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software was published in 1994 by the so-called "Gang of Four" (Gamma et al.). Introduction No introduction to patterns is complete The Design Patterns book, commonly referred to as the Gang of Four because of the four authors, is the baseline must-have book in this space. The infamous (that's them pictured- honest) Gang of Four: Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson, and John Vlissides published their famous book 'Design Patterns, Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software'. In design pattern we often listen the term Gang of Four, GOF, or GO4. World code, it is more difficult than expected. In the past 6 months, I have been reading and studying the well-known book Design Patterns, Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software by Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson, and John Vlissides (GOF). In the next three tables are the original design patterns as they are described in the book: "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software". However, I find myself using the Head First Design graphical depictions of the patterns. I never finished the series for lack of time. In next posts, I will pick each one of original 23 GOF design patterns, discuss pros, cons & need, UML diagrams for patterns and simple code illustration in C#. It was subsequently described in depth in the highly influential “Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software” [2], a.k.a. Note: This is part of an ongoing series introducing patterns at the Tampa C# Meetup. 15230 results found for "C Gang Of Four Design Patterns Elements Of Reusable Object Oriented Software ebook download". Delphi's implementation of interfaces lacks of either a garbage collector (as C# or Java do (ab)use), or at least a native weak reference support (as with Apple's ARC model). I began myself writing a series of Delphi examples aiming to explain the classic design patterns as defined in "Design Patterns (Elements of reusable Object-Oriented Software)" by the "Gang of Four" (GOF).
